Step 1: Appointment

Emergent:

For emergent transport and admission, call (314) 454-6265 or the Pediatric Chief Resident at (314) 454-6000.

Urgent:

Physicians call (800) 678-4357 or divisional phone numbers (M-F, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).

Non-urgent:

Physicians call (800) 678-4357 or divisional phone numbers (M-F, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
Patients and office personnel call (888) 503-2237 or Divisional patient appointment numbers.

Please tell your patient your preference regarding:

Forward pertinent patient records, lab results, radiographs:

The department of Pediatrics provides specialty care for the major HMO, PPO, Medicaid MC+ and commercial insurance plans in the St. Louis area. We also serve Medicaid and Crippled Children's program patients from many other states. For the patient's convenience, it is important for your office to provide referrals and authorizations prior to the visit. These may be phoned in to the Division or faxed to (314) 454-4801.
