Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Hours of Operation: 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The NICU is located on the fifth floor of St. Louis Children's Hospital. Please ask for directions to the elevators to the fifth floor at the front information desk of the hospital.

Your physician will need to contact one of the attending doctors in the NICU to arrange transport of your infant. Your doctor can arrange transfer by contacting one of the numbers above or by contacting the St. Louis Children's Hospital transport team at (314) 454-6265 or (800) 888-6265. A physician and nurse will come to the hospital where your baby is hospitalized and transport him or her back to St. Louis Children's Hospital.
